Thanks for sharing this post. I think that when you first start caring for someone with dementia, it can be overwhelming. It's good to know what you should or should not say, and it's nice to hear about caregiving from someone with experience.

My family and I have been having a really had time with my grandmother having dementia. We have been doing all that we can to comfort her and be there for her, but I was wondering if you had any suggestions. The situation has been hard on everyone on my family, and we could really use some help.
